Welcome To Wellness
My name is Sophia, and I’m here to welcome you to the Free Spirit Wellness community – a community of like-minded women who enjoy sharing sacred space and fun-filled activities. A space, regardless of whether it is live or online, where women can connect to the joy and light that we inherently are.
Free Spirit Wellness was born out of a desire to break out of the conventional box I lived in for 22 years. I felt a deep need for freedom and fun, for something that would feed my soul on different levels and fill me up with joy.
If you are looking for a renewed sense of inspiration and feel a deep desire calling you to experience something outside of the ordinary, day-to-day life, then you are in good company here. Welcome.
Studio Classes
VINYASA YOGA
In a vinyasa practice, you can expect to stay in a constant flow of well-balanced and challenging movements. Use this time to draw inwards and focus on connecting the movements with your breath for a rewarding practice to feed your soul.
YIN YOGA
A slow, floor based, restorative practice where poses are held for a few minutes to allow the body and mind to settle. Yin yoga is a beautiful practice that targets your deep connective tissues, joints, and bones to complement the more active yoga classes offered.
ASHTANGA YOGA
This dynamic, physically demanding practice synchronises breath and movement to produce an internal heat designed to purify the body. Ashtanga yoga, with its many Vinyasas, is great for building core strength and toning the body. Prepare to sweat!
KUNDALINI YOGA
An uplifiting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movements, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and chanting of mantras. The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness.
Gentle Flow
Designed to be nurturing and grounding, these classes offer a blend of slow, deliberate movements and mindful breathing. This practice emphasizes the synchronization of movement with breath, encouraging a deep sense of relaxation and inner calm.
HOT FLOW
An evolution of Vinyasa yoga in a heated room, this is a beautiful sequenced flow that is guided by music that moves us. In this flow, we focus on the movements between postures synchronizing breath and movement as one.
